The Thirsty Moose Pub opened its doors in 2008 and has been the go-to (and only) place on campus to grab an after-class beer and fill up on moose fries.

We are open as of September 5, 2024.
We will be open Tuesday to Friday at 11:45 am, with closing hours posted weekly on our social channels or on campus on our chalkboards.
The Moose is operated by NUGSS and is located in the NUSC Building, right below our office. It is also possible for SLOs to host their own pub nights in the Moose as a fundraising opportunity.

All patrons must also provide two pieces of government-issued identification for proof of legal drinking age to enter the Pub.
Proof of legal age requirements are not required for ordering and picking up take-out items, provided the patron(s) stay in the designated take-out area.
