The Thirsty Moose Pub

The Thirsty Moose Pub opened its doors in 2008 and has been the go-to (and only) place on campus to grab an after-class beer and fill up on moose fries.

We will reopen for the Winter Semester on January 7th!

We have new hours for the Winter Semester starting in January! Closing times may vary depending on the events scheduled; check our social media for any updates!

Tuesday - 11:45 AM - 9:00 PM

Wednesday - 11:45 AM - 9:00 PM

Thursday - 11:45 AM - 10:00 PM

Friday - 11:45 AM - 10:00 PM

Saturday - Hours based on events scheduled.

We will be closed for UNBC’s winter reading break from February 17th to 22nd.

The Moose is operated by NUGSS and is located in the NUSC Building, right below our office. It is also possible for SLOs to host their own pub nights in the Moose as a fundraising opportunity.

All patrons must also provide two pieces of government-issued identification for proof of legal drinking age to enter the Pub.

Proof of legal age requirements are not required for ordering and picking up take-out items, provided the patron(s) stay in the designated take-out area.
